WLC Engineering and Surveying hired Advanced Geotechnical Solutions in early 2022 for geotechnical engineering and subsurface exploration. In mid-2022, AGS was further contracted by Sampson Construction to handle construction materials testing, as well as construction oversight and inspection for the Highland Park Tennis Courts project in Casper, Wyoming.
AGS’s role in this project involved conducting a geotechnical analysis of the soils and providing detailed recommendations for mitigating poor soil conditions. Geotechnical Engineering played a crucial role in accurately determining the necessary requirements for building the tennis courts on the soft soil of the project site. The recommendations included installing aggregate piers to minimize vertical movement of the soil.
We are pleased to have had the opportunity to contribute to this project, benefiting not only Natrona High School and Kelly Walsh High School, but also competitive and recreational tennis players throughout Central Wyoming.
